Microgaming Jackpot passes the 6 Million Dollar Mark

Isle Of Man-based software development company Microgaming Software Systems Ltd has announced that the jackpot for four of its online gambling progressive jackpots has passed six million dollars and is still growing.

The company’s Microgaming Jackpot Network, which introduced the progressive concept to online gambling, sees numerous casinos network into a single major jackpot on specific virtual slot machines to grow the prize into a multi-million dollar opportunity.

The firm said that the Mega Moolah jackpot is currently the biggest progressive reward on offer at $3.7 million. This five-reel, 25-payline video slot features a range of opportunity symbols such as wild, free spin, scatter and multiplayer with the wild symbol adding a multiplier symbol that doubles winnings on the combinations it completes.

Microgaming said that the game is a four-tier progressive that gives players four increasing jackpots to aim at starting with the Mega at one million dollars followed by the Major at $10,000, Minor at $100 and the Mini at ten dollars.

Also adding to the total jackpot is its Roulette Royale game currently standing at $650,000 followed by its King Cashalot at just over $570,000 and the Major Millions with $460,000.

The firm's progressive wins are all paid out in a single reward payment, something it has done to the tune of over $225 million since the launch of the Jackpot Network to over 6,500 players around the world, creating eleven instant millionaires.
